What are the candles made of?
Our candles are made with 100% soy wax, a cotton wick and a blend of premium fragrance and essential oils. Our pillar candles are 100% beeswax.

Why use a blend of fragrance and essential oils?
Using this oil blend ensures our candles scent will smell not only while in the jar but that it will last during the entire life of the candle and that its throw will fill a medium sized room.

This oil blend also allows us to create more complex scent profiles at an accessible price point.

What is the burn time?
40 hours.

How can I increase the burn time of a candle?
Each time you light your candle ensure there is enough time for a wax pool to fully form (this means the wax should be completely melted across the top of your candle). This ensures your candle will melt evenly as it burns down without excess wax building up along the sides of the jar or “tunneling” to occur.

How do I safely burn my candle?
Keep wick trimmed to 1/4” and place candle on a flat and stable surface. Burn for no more than 4 hours. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

When was Homecoming founded?
Founded in 2012 by Suraiya Nanji Homecoming spent its first few years of life as Hayworth + Heart, inspired by the neighborhood of its creation in Los Angeles. In 2016 after moving back to Vancouver, BC Homecoming was born.
