We have worked with a wide range of brands including the Lululemon Lab, Native Shoes, Nineteen Ten Home Boutique and In Bed With Betty to create custom scented candles.

Step One

Research and Development: Base rate for custom candle exploration is $1000 per scent.

This fee includes an initial meeting to discuss your scent profile and three follow up meetings (if required) to finalize your scent.

Meeting #1: Inspiration and logistics. We’ll discuss what scents you are drawn to and which ones to stay away from, the feelings you want to evoke and any inspiration you may have. Don’t be shy, let’s talk colour, design, branding etc. timing, delivery and order size will also be discussed.

Meeting #2: Initial oil samples, client will be presented with an initial round of fragrance samples based on the scent profile. This is the time to decide if we are staying on course or need to go back to the drawing board.

Meeting #3: A smaller collection of oil samples will be presented.

Meeting #4: 3 sample candles are presented for you to take and burn, from this your final candle will be chosen.

The $1000.00 fee covers the cost of materials, research and development. If a scent is not finalized after meeting #4 or the direction changes, an additional fee of $250 per meeting will incur to continue sampling scents.

Step 2

Wholesale Pricing: Once your custom scent is finalized candles will then be sold at the wholesale rate of $15.00 per unit which includes the following:

Packaging:
-9oz. clear, straight sided jar
-Black, white or gold lid
-Brown kraft box with standard label

We can also provide candles without labels and boxes for $14.50 allowing you to fully customize the packaging with your graphic designer.

Timing: The approximate time from the initial consultation to final samples is approximately 8-10 weeks, this may change due to supply availability, and scheduling of meetings.

Minimums: A minimum order of 50 candles is required once wholesale order is placed.

Payment: An initial deposit of $500.00 is required to begin the project and the remaining $500.00 will be due after meeting #4.

Payment for wholesale orders are due upon receipt of goods.
